For the French streetwear brand Baara, I created an illustration inspired by an iconic photograph by Congolese photographer Jean Depara. Using a palette of brown, beige, and white, the image captures the strength of a united group, echoing the themes of collective identity, gang, crew, and team spirit — central to this collection. The illustration was adapted across several pieces from the capsule drop: a knit sweater, a hoodie, and a t-shirt. The name of the drop: "Le Band de Franco" — a tribute to group culture and the visual legacy of a legendary photographer.
